Not every home has the space or budget for a full massage chair. The Sereno Life® Qomfii is a shiatsu back massage cushion that straps onto the chair you already use at home, in the office, or in the car and delivers a focused back and neck session wherever you are.
Quick answer: The Qomfii is a shiatsu back massage cushion with rotating kneading nodes and a heat function. Priced at Rs. 24,800. It suits office workers, drivers and compact homes. It does not recline, does not massage the legs, and is not a replacement for a full body session.
What the Qomfii Actually Does
The Qomfii straps securely onto the back of any chair or car seat. Inside, rotating shiatsu kneading nodes move along the spine on both sides, pressing into the muscles at adjustable speed from gentle to firm. A heat function adds warmth during the session. You control the zone and speed from a simple remote.
Where you can use it:
- At home on a dining chair, study chair or sofa with a firm back
- At the office on your desk chair during a break
- In the car as a passenger on intercity journeys
What the Qomfii Does Not Do
A back massage cushion is a focused device - not a full body session. It does not recline, has no airbags for the arms, legs or feet, and covers the back and neck only.
If you want full body daily coverage - zero gravity recline, shiatsu kneading from neck to lower back, airbag compression and lumbar heat, the next step is a massage chair. The Aurex Full Body Massage Chair at Rs. 132,999 is the most accessible starting point in the Sereno Life® range, with a 2-year local warranty.
Who the Qomfii Suits
- Office workers who want a back and neck session during the working day
- Drivers and passengers on long intercity journeys
- Students and shared households where floor space is limited
- First-time buyers who want to try shiatsu before committing to a full chair
- Households already using a massage chair who want a portable daily option for the office
Getting the Best from the Qomfii
Choose the right chair. The Qomfii works best on a firm, upright-backed chair. On a very soft sofa, the kneading nodes sink into the cushioning and the session feels noticeably weaker.
Adjust your position. Sit fully back so the spine sits between the nodes. Move up or down slightly to direct the nodes toward the area upper back, mid back or lower back - that you want to focus on.
Use a light layer. A thin shirt between the cushion and the skin is comfortable. A thick jumper reduces the pressure from the nodes.
Keep sessions to 15 minutes. This is the effective daily duration. Most users run one session in the afternoon, when desk tension has accumulated through the working day.
At the Office
The Qomfii is most useful during the working day. Use it during a break rather than while concentrating and keep the motor sound in mind in shared office spaces.
The World Health Organisation's guidance on daily physical activity notes that breaking up prolonged sitting with short recovery intervals even 15 minutes produces meaningful improvements in how the body feels through the working day. The Qomfii fits naturally into this pattern.

Many customers start with the Qomfii and add a full massage chair once they confirm how often they use daily shiatsu at home. Others use both - the Qomfii at the office during the day, the massage chair in the evening.
For households also considering a recliner sofa for TV lounge comfort, or a foot massager for lower leg daily recovery - all three are available at Sereno Life® showrooms in Lahore and Karachi alongside the Qomfii.
Looking After the Qomfii
- Wipe the cover with a slightly damp cloth after use - dry before the next session
- Unplug when not in use
- Store in a dry, cool space away from direct sunlight
- Do not fold or kink the power cable
- In the car - do not leave on the seat in direct summer sun for extended periods
